WHITE BELT — Understanding the Ecosystem Fundamentals
No specific technical prerequisites are required.
This chapter is the entry point to the BELT Certification. It is designed for anyone seeking to understand the foundations of the ecosystem before moving on to operational pathways, financial structuring mechanisms, and management functions.
A general understanding of the EIC International / iCapital Ventures ecosystem may facilitate the learning process, but it is not required.
The WHITE BELT is the first level of the BELT Certification and provides a comprehensive understanding of the core principles, methods, and mechanisms that structure the ecosystem.
This chapter introduces the SMI v2025, the GAFC method, the weekly cadence framework, the DDFM assessment and progression system, as well as the main structuring mechanisms related to the Golden Share and the investor mentoring pathway.
At this stage, the objective is not yet to achieve operational mastery of the tools, but rather to enable participants to understand their purpose, how they interact, and how they contribute to the overall functioning of the ecosystem.
Upon completion of this first level, participants will have acquired the essential foundations required to progress to the higher BELT levels and gradually deepen their operational, financial, and strategic capabilities.
